Now, into our Budapest office, we are looking for a
HEAD OF SUPPLY CHAIN
TASKS:
Leading the purchasing teams of the 2 divisions of the company
Setting up long term agreements with suppliers and improving the processes within the organization to reduce inventory, improve supplier quality, on time delivery and reduce the cost of materials
Effectively managing a variety of contracts & SLA’s.
Daily liaison with the warehouse regarding inbound and outbound movements; troubleshoot any issues as they arise
Managing improvement initiatives and cost control measures as agreed, plan, track and follow up as required
Acting as the local first operational point of contact for the suppliers, build & maintain good working relationships with the suppliers and partners
Searching new suppliers and completing their qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
10-15 years’ experience in Supply Chain in the T&D industry
Preferable based in Budapest, Hungary
English is a must
University or college degree ideally in technical, logistics or economics
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong leadership skills with ability to communicate cross functionally and motivate own team and inspire others
Ability to travel within and outside of Hungary
